F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you come to me? Do I need to bring anything?

I will arrive at your desired location, wherever it is you are getting ready. I arrive early in order to setup my makeup station. You don’t have to bring absolutely anything except your beautiful face. I bring everything in my kit, from face wash and moisturizers, to special lights to be used during the application.

I have very sensitive and/or acne prone skin…do you have special products for me?

Absolutely, I have a wide range of products including foundations that are specific for sensitive skin and also for acne prone skin. Since I’m also an esthetician you can request a calming mask to be applied prior to your makeup application to further help with any redness or irritations. My service also includes applying the appropriate moisturizer for your skin type.

Makeup always seems to melt off my face, even makeup that I have applied at Beauty Counters like MAC etc. Will this also happen with yours?

In all the years that I have been doing makeup, I have never had one bride or clients complain that the makeup has come off early. On the contrary, they usually have to try hard to take it off. Besides using Professional foundations (not available at beauty counters,)  I make sure to carefully prep and prime the skin as well as add special finishing touches to ensure your makeup will last to the wee hours of the night. The makeup in my kit is also waterproof and sweat-proof.

I am very health conscious and I’m scared of getting infections from sharing makeup. Are you careful when it comes to this?

I am very serious about sanitation. I use my Stainless Steel makeup mixing palette to custom blend foundations, lipsticks, etc.  I disinfect the palette and brushes after each face. My brushes never touch the original makeup container, this ensure that no germs are transferred from face to face. I also use disposable mascara wands and lip brushes. You have nothing to worry about.

I can never find the right foundation to match my skin color. How do I know you will have the right one for me?

The answer to this is simple, I do not use regular foundation, I custom blend your foundation according to your skin tone and type using high pigmented correcting palettes. This allows me the freedom to do makeup on any face, no matter the skin color. Not only that, but I use special foundations formulated for TV that don’t have specific ingredients that may make you look ashy or washed out when the camera flashes.
